Volton custom manufactures brake resistances. We also refurbish the complete unit, regardless of the original manufacturer. Brake resistances are used in load banks to test generators, motors, battery systems & uninterruptible power systems.

They dissipate the energy generated by the motor during the deceleration process. They protect the motor and its power circuits, while helping to reduce energy level spikes at start-up.
