Ceramic radiant tubes are custom manufactured at Volton. Discover their features, options, and detailed applications below.

Configuration and Installation

  • Can be placed horizontally or vertically in any type of oven.
  • Can be installed in open air and also inside radiant tubes when the environment is corrosive.

Temperatures and Materials

  • Reach very high temperatures (1400°C/2552°F maximum).
  • Radiant heating rods made of nickel-chrome 80/20 or Kanthal A-1 up to 12' long.
  • External diameter of ceramics from 3" to 9".

Electrical Specifications

  • Low voltage operation up to 600V 3 PH available.
  • A low voltage allows for a larger resistance wire, thus a higher current.
  • CSA & UL
