Features
Cast-in heating elements, also known as "cast-in," are recognized for their unbeatable lifespan. They provide high heating power and a uniform surface temperature.
Available Options
- Clamping collars
- Thermocouple holes
- Antideflagrant or standard terminal enclosure
- Epoxy sealing (for use in a humid environment)
- Voltage: 120V to 600V single-phase or three-phase
- CSA & UL
Materials and Construction
- Cast-in elements are tubular elements molded in aluminum or bronze
- They are commonly designed in cylinder, plate, or ring shapes. Other shapes are available upon request
- Aluminum is ideal for applications not exceeding 750 °F (400 °C), while bronze is suitable for applications up to 1100 °F (595 °C)
- Cylinders and plates can be manufactured with liquid or air cooling options
- For air cooling, the cast elements are equipped with fins to accelerate cooling, while for water or cooling tubes, they have tubular fittings.
Applications
- Cooking for the food industry
- Bag and container sealing
- Press heating
- Welding of polymer profiles
- Heating of all types of molds
- Plastic and rubber extrusion
- Etc.
